3.8 liter has poor idle rough anything above idle engine runs smoothe after highway driving and coming to stop will some times die but easy to restart?have changed plug wires and plugs already

Do you have a check engine light or has flashed before?

Check the idle air control valve/throttle position sensor and the exhaust gas recirculation valve EGR-

Might also want to check for an exhaust restriction to rule out the catalytic converter.

there has been no engine lights could i9t be the masair flow sensor? or egr valave? causing this?
