Will running my Buick 3.8 liter engine to rich, cause much problems later? My gas mileage is a little worst I think? Are there other things to look out for?

Please help, with answers, and thank you!

Are you running your engine rich on purpose? If so, I advise you to stop immediately.

Running rich will allow too much fuel to enter your cylinders, which can't be all burned away during the power strokes. This washes away the oil on the cylinder walls that is needed to protect your engines piston rings from excessive wear. This will drastically reduce the life span of your engine.

Also, running rich for any extended period of time will destroy you catalytic converter. And you will fail an emissions test.
