I Have A Buick Grand National 1987. WHen the is cold it runs great, but when it reaches 160 temp the car starts to hesitate and my check engine light comes on?

What ever is tripping your check engine light should be logged in the computer memory. You need to have the computer scanned to retrieve these codes. Auto Zone, and most other major parts stores will scan it for free or a small fee. Your performance problem is probably related to these codes. Hope this helps.
