I AM A OWNER OF A 2004 BUICK RANIER AND THE OTHER DAY WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON THE ROAD ALL THE SUDDEN MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND THE LOW COOLANT LIGHT JUMPED ON AND THE CAR WOULDNT GO. I WOLD PRESS THE GAS BUT IT DID NOTHING THE CAR WOULD ONLY GO LIKE 5MPH. THEN WHEN I PULLED ASIDE AND TURNED IT OFF FOR A MINUTE WHEN I CRANKED IT BACK UP IT WAS FINE. wHAT WOULD CAUSE THIS PROBLEM??

Hi:

What I suggest, since the lights were on, is to take the car to a nationally recognized auti parts store and have them scan the computer for trouble codes. Most of the stores will do it for free. Let me know if they find any codes. Also, make sure the coolant is full.
