Noises problem
2005 Buick Ranier V8

I hear a "bumping" sound that appears to be coming from the right rear. I had to have the automatic leveling sensor module on the right rear replaced few months ago. Can you help?

Hi:
Have you checked the tire for damage or a bubble? That would be my first concern. Also, does the sound change with the speed of the car?

Yes, no problem with the tires - the bump is consistently about 20-25 seconds apart, and can be heard while the car is not moving.

Hi:
If I had to guess, I would say you need it replaced again. Have it checked, and if it's a reasonable amount of time since you had it done, I would go back to the same mechanic. Maybe he'll do it under warranty.
