2004 Buick Park Avenue Ignition

2004 Buick Park Avenue 60000 miles

The key will not go into the ignition. The black thing attached to the steering column is very loose. The car is parked with the shift in the park position. Wiggling the steering wheel did not help.

If the key won't go into the ignition, chances are the tumbler is bad. You can purchase lubericant that is designed for tumblers to see if that helps.

Does the key go in at all?
