the key wont turn over. i tryed turning the wheel and adjusting the steering wheel and wont turn over

So the key won't turn in the cylinder? Does the key look badly worn down?Do you another less worn key to try?Have you tried lightly taping on the key hole with a hammer?Then see if it will turn?
