2003 Buick Park Avenue Intermittent

My air conditioning is only coming on intermittently. The compressor sounds like it is engaging but no cold air is coming out of the vents. Then without warning and apparenlty randomly, the cold air will start flowing. There does not appear to be a pattern as to when the system will start working.

Have the blend air door checked to make sure it is working. If it doesn't open all the time, you will not get AC.
