2003 Buick Park Avenue Coolant Temperature

Please advise the proper coolant operating temperature. The gage indicates approx. 187 f however varies +/- 3 f.

According to the specs, coolant thermostat remains closed until temp is 195 F then it opens and circulates...187 is low! Try a new thermostat to raise to 195...buy a 195 heat range tstat...

Also use a 50-50 mix of DEX-COOL and water!
