2002 Buick Park Avenue transmission slips going up hills @

Transmission problem
2002 Buick Park Avenue Two Wheel Drive Automatic

When the car shifts into 4th gear the car stutters.
It feels as though the transmission is slipping.
Is there an adjustment to transmission bands or could the torque converter be going on the fritz?

There are no transmission adjustments that can bed done to adjust slipping bands, this problem should be referred to a transmission specialist as they will be able to do a number of tests to determine the actual fault with this transmission, start here.
