my 02 rendezvous gas gauge not working it some how reads that has a full gas tank but somtimes the needle just moves all the way to empty.

Your sensor that's connected to your float is mostlikely going out. It'll cost around $400.00 just to get the tank drained and dropped for them to work on it plus the cost of the part. Oh and the sensor doesn't come by itself, you'll have to purchase the whole assembly. Sorry to say.
