Engine Mechanical problem
2000 Buick Park Avenue 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 190K miles

I just changed the engine the Buick Ulta with a supercharged 3.8 because the old supercharged 3.8 was making noises in the bottom end. I am not able to get the new motor to run. I here the fuel pump run but am not getting fuel in the cylinders. The car turns over but never fires. The spark plugs are dry, I changed map sensors with the old motor hoping that was it but it didn't help. What should I do next?

Thanks,

1st step is to check the fuel pressure, if you can hear the fuel pump come On and making sure the fuel pressure is within specs. No pressure at all with power to the pump and good ground points to a dead pump. Further if the injectors don't synchronized it will not open to provide fuel.
