Electrical problem
2000 Buick Park Avenue 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I need to change the battery. Will I have to do anything to keep the electrical system running when I take it out or will it be okay to take the old one out and put a new one in?

There is a memory keep alive that plugs into cigarette lighter. can make out of adapter and 9vdc batt.Otherwise make sure you have radio code!
