1999 Buick Park Avenue 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 180K miles
I have run into something I never seen before the cars gauges go wild and the service vehicle soon light comes on and the security light also comes on and stays on sometimes while driving the car.Also the other service lights are lit up when it starts going wild this condition only last about 3sec. And after it calms down the gauge read outs are reset back to zero, such as the fuel range and the trip meter. During this condition the car never stalls or misses or dies while driving it. I plugged my computer up to it to see what the service vehicle soon light might be, and my computer shows pass no codes. I looked into the book and it shows that the pass key III system module may need serviced. could this cause the gauges to go wild and cause my condition. Thanks.
