MY GAS METTER JUMPS AROUND IS IT A SENSOR OR IS IT INSIDE MY TANK

usually its the fuel sending unit- which is located in your fuel tank... and they run pretty expensive.... be prepared to spend around 300-400 just on the part.

i would have it tested before its replaced just to verify.
