I need to Replace the Mass airflow sensor in the buick park avenue. Where is that located and how easy or hard is it to replace? Also The dealership said that there was a small leak in the fuel line. Said they would have to drop the gas tank in order to install new fuel line. Has anyone done this job and what dose it consist of? Any help is greatly appreciative.

The MAF is right on the intake and very easy to change.

The fuel line is much harder to deal with because one end of the line is at the top of the tank, sandwiched between the body.

Do you know if there are any parts in the way of removing the gas tank, or is it simply just unbolting and dropping it? I know on my Bmw I have to remove the drive shaft in order to remove the Tank. Also are the fuel lines metal and plastic at the ends or attached by rubber hoses? Thanks

Nothing big to remove. just the usual filler pipe, 2 straps, wiring harness and lines. The lines will be nylon and have snap couplers at the tank.
