last week I turned the heater on and it would not blow hot air. I checked the water and the reservoir was empty, so I added water. the next 2 mornings when i started the car it would tap, but it had oil and water in it. Once I started to drive the car the tapping would stop. On Thursday night I drove the car and it was skipping really bad so I parked it. Friday and Saturday the car drove good(no tapping or skipping). Then Sunday and yesterday it begin to skip again, so I decided to check the oil and thats when I found water mixed with oil on the dip stick. What would cause this and what r my options to fix this?

Two possibliities leaking intake gasket or blown head gasket. If compression good then intake common on V6
