1997 Buick Park Avenue 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 120k miles

i have a 97 buick park ave when you are driving and hit a bump in the rear end it jerks the the back end of the car and seems like it kicks it out almost like a loose condition what could this be?

Are the rear struts still working properly?

No i need to put new struts on, i thought it might be the stabalizer link but every thing seems tight. ive never had a car with a bad strut feel like this, But this is the first buick ive owned. Do you think it the rear struts?
