Recently I noticed that I have what looks like oil in the filler cap of my rad.
I have just flushed the rad and seen that inside the rad it is coated with the same type of substance,also it is present in the coolant res. tank, however the colant that came out was clean or so I think it is.
I have the cooler infront of the rad and was told this could be leaking.
My car is 1997 buick Park Ave. Ultra 3.8 ltr. S/C with aprox. 236700 km, I have owned it for almost 2yrs and have never had any heat problems or overheating and I change my oil every time the oil life index gets down to 30%.
I have looked at the oil when I change it and I do not see any coolant and the oil filler cap is clean, it also doe's not burn oil more than what I think it should.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreceated.
