i've been hearing a pump noise from the back of the car for the last 1000 miles that makes me think my shocks are going out. when i drive over speed bumps, my shocks are squeaking and the self leveling pump (i guess thats what it is) keep coming on. it used to be every great once in a while, but now it seems to come on every five to ten minutes for a duration of about 30 seconds, maybe a little less. i need to get this fixed, or do it myself, but im unsure how to determine exactly what the problem is, and what i need to replace. is it the shocks, or the pump? and if its the shocks, where can i find the replacements online?

You just have to physically check both shocks and the pump. If your pump comes on every ten minutes, looks like you have a slow leak. A client of mine had similar problem to yours and we had to replace the line and shocks.
