1996 Buick Park Avenue 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive

Where is the second solinoid located? I changed the starter and was told there was a second!

Nope. Whomever told you was mistaken. You have a maxi fuse 60A, starter relay in the fuse box, and the starter solenoid attached to the starter assembly.
