The rear of the car seems elevated as if shocks or struts are fully extended. Car skip over bumps in road. Its as if the electronic level control is sensing a heavy load in the trunk.

You would need to take it to Buick or a competent garage and have it scanned for "C" chassis codes.
This should isolate the problem. Autoparts stores can only scan for powertrain codes ("P").
