1994 Buick Park Avenue 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I HAD THIS BUICK IN SHOP LAST WEEK , WHEN I
TIRED TO PULL THE HOOD HANDLE IT WOULD NOT
RELEASE. I NOTICE THE RELEASE CABLE BEING LOSE
WHEN I PULL ON IT . IT THERE WAY A I CAN GET
THE HOOD BY WORKING UNDER CAR FROM THE
FRONT BY REMOVING SOME THE HOOD PARTS.

the problem is not the handle, because the release cable is lose. with a pair of pliers,can you get to that cable and pull on it?
