It comes out through the steering column. You must pull the steering wheel and everything under it. Reply if you decide to do this yourself and need further instructions.

Hello,

In order to replace the ignition switch, you will have to remove the steering wheel.
Few things to keep in mind before getting started on this replacement:

Wheels must be in a straight forward position and the key must be in the Lock position when removing or installing column to ensure proper alignment of components during installation.
Be sure to disconnect the battery.
Take extra care when handling of the airbag inflator inside the steering wheel.
Do not point the air bag deploy surface towards you.
