My car likes to show me the "Service Engine Soon" notice when I am using the cruise control. Does my car have a VSS. What are the possible symptoms?

Hi:
Yes it has a VSS. As far as the light, have the computer scanned at a nationally recognized parts store. Most will do it for free. See if there is a code set, and let me know what you find.
