1985 Buick Park Avenue Battery drain issue?

I have recently purchased a 1985 Buick Park Avenue. The individual that we purchased it from inicated that the Fuse for the tail lights needs to be pulled when the car is parked or it will drain the battery. Where do I start looking to find the problem? The tail lights work like they should when the fuse is inserted.
