Hi,
I purchased a Street Rod with a 1994 3800 Buick engine and associated electricals including the dash. Every time the ignition is turned on the "Service Engine Soon" sign light up for about 5 seconds. I have since learned that the engine locks into a predetermined running mode, possible with very poor fuel performance,... as I noticed. Prior to delivery the car was sitting in a warehouse for 9 months and the battery was completely drained and hat to be replaced. A number of electrical bits do not work either , speedo, fuel and temp gauge, signal horn and dash light.
My question ... How can I reset the computer to zero ?? or a "normal" running state, or what is the recommended course of action ?
Any feedback welcome.
Cheers,
Woddchisel
