1990 Other Buick Models Engine noise

There is a clickety clack noise coming from passenger side or (engine side) of vehicle. The car is a Park Avenue. The sound lessens with load upon accelleration. What could it be? Please help!Cant upload picture..

i would check your pullys. they are on the passenger side of the car. if one of them is lose would explain why noise gets worse when load is on the engine. best of luck with it post back and let me know if that was your problem
