I've recently bought a 1987 Buick Regency 98. Within the first 10 miles of driving it home it stalled, after only a few minutes it would start and drive again. This problem is haunting us! we've replaced the fuel filter (which was abnormally bad) That seemed to make the car run smoother, however within 30 miles of driving the problem returned. This problem seems to only happen in the hot afternoons, however that may be a coincidence.
What do YOU think?

Hi:
It may be the fuel pump. You should have the computer scanned at a nationally recognized parts store. They will do it for free and it should help us identify the problem if it stored a code.

Let me know what you find.
