Windows and locks not working?

I recently purchased this car. At time of purchase, the rear windows and door locks would not work from either the master driver’s side switch or at the location. Last week, the passenger window and door lock stopped working. Checked fuses- all good. Bought a used control module on eBay to see if this did it. No luck. So as of now, only the driver’s side window and lock works. Both electric mirrors work fine. Thoughts on the next step on diagnosing?

It is common for the driver's door module to go out in these cars, here are the wiring diagrams to show you how the system works. I would start by checking the fuses I have marks for you, here is a guide to help:

If okay here is how to change out the DDM in the images below.

In the left front door, behind the trim panel in the upper right corner of the door

Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Thank you, Ken, I will start by testing the switch with focus on #10. From your experience, which part is more prone to failure on this vehicle- the driver window switch or the driver’s door module mounted behind door panel? Thank you

The driver’s door module gets pounded every time you close the door, but I have seen the window switch cause this as well. I would do the easiest one first and if you get the switch from Amazon, you can send it back if it doesn't work.

In our trouble shooting of window issue, which we have not yet solved, we have noticed the 30amp elc maxi fuse keeps shorting out. Is this something to do with electronic leveling? It doesn’t seem to interrupt any common vehicle functions. Any thoughts on typical issues with elc system?

So some of those wiring are for the locking system and the other for the windows. Here is the window switch wiring diagrams as well to help you see how the system works. If you are talking about the 30 amp circuit breaker for the windows then that can be a problem with the DDM which it feeds. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Thank you for the additional electric diagram. 2 things going on.
1. All windows and door locks other than the driver’s door don’t work. We have replaced both door modules, door window/lock switch and tested grounds, fuses and wiring in door panel. Nothing has changed. Next step? I have heard possible corrosion in wiring under driver’s seat.
2. Electronic leveling control system - shorting out 30 amp maxi fuse.

Thank you for your guidance.
Tony
