I have a 99 buick lesabre limited 3.8 V6 with 75,000 miles. Just recently i have noticed that the transmission slips from time to time. Mainly when i'm at freeway speeds maybe 60 to 70 miles per hr. I have only had the car for about a year. Maybe 10,000 miles or so. The fluid is not dirty so i'm thinking that it was changed at some time. I would just like to know if you have any suggestions. I know transmission problems can be expensive and i'm not a rich man so any advice would be greatly appriciated.

When you say that it slips....Do the engine RPM's increase like it goes into neutral or does the RPM's go up and down like a surge type deal ??? The more info the better.
