IF there is oil in the coolant and the gasket needs to be replaced... how expensive is this? Is it worth fixing or would it be better to get a new car... is it beyond repair at this point?

GM recalled many cars for an intake manifold gasket problem, oil in coolant and coolant in exhaust.

Check with GM to see if car is on recall list, if so repair is free.

This repair usually runs around $700.
