The problem I'm having is my car will over heat after a few minutes of driving and it will automatically shut off. The heater makes this happen faster but the heater will not blow out hot air. Its cold air coming out and I have the heater on full blast. Can you tell me what the problem is?

It sounds to me as if you are out of coolant, or so low that it wont circulate. Open the radiator cap(with cold engine and not running), fill the rad with water or coolant. When you can see the fluid over the coils, stop filling and let it settle. As it levels out, keep adding until just below the fill neck. Leave the cap off, and start the engine and let it warm up. as it warms up, it might overflow some, that's OK. the fluid should eventually go down, when it does, top it off, fill the reservoir to the proper level and you should be good to go if you have no leaks. It sounds like you could have a clogged radiator, stuck thermostat or the radiator cooling fan is not working, there is an outside change you have a blown head gasket as well but to be sure lets run down these guides to help us pinpoint and fix the issue.
