Does the car overheat at any speed? It seems you have been very thorough with repairs. Have you checked for a headgasket leak? That can cause an overheat problem.

Also, from the picture, I think you are pointing at a CV boot. Is it on the axle? If so, you can drive it, but the boot is to keep dirt out and grease in. Eventually, the grease will come out and the dirt and junk getting will ruin the joint.

I guss its from the headgasket its leaking big time, but does that mean that the Joan colas is Bad? Does that coast alot.

And as for the teared rubber in the CV boot, can I put a cover that I can get? Or a cloth or you know according to your experties, thanks alot.

Pleas can you tell me how much do people pay on donations.

Thanks alot for your response to say the truth your the best between all the auto losers I sent my car to.

As far as the head gasket, it will need replaced. The CV boot will also need replaced. The boot is a cheap part, around 15.00 dollars, but the labor requires they remove the axle which usually takes about 1.5 hours. Also, the head gasket will be around 700. Based on where you live.

I hope this helps. If you have other questions, let me know. And, thanks for using 2carpros. Com.

Also, as far as a donation, anything or nothing at all. We are glad to help.

Joe

I estimated the entire job to be around 700. The gaskets only would be more like you said, 70 to 100.

Sorry about the heart failure.

Hi:
If I had a link to send you to for replacing the headgasket, I would do it. I don't even have any pictures to cut and paste. The process is involved, and for me to try to explain it via the internet allows too much room for error. I really recommend that you get a good repair manual that provides step by step instructions and pictures to help identify parts.

I will be here if you run into trouble or have additional questions. Don't be afraid to ask.

Joe, I realized when the car is over heated, when I cool it down a lil, it works fine in neutral, but once I shift it to drive, the car stalls, but if its cold, like next morning, I turn it on I drive it normaly untill it over heats and the same drama happens.
Cool it > wait for the engine to relax > turn on > put neutrol>get happy > then shift to drive and stalls > get pissed off > park it somewhere > then next day I come get it back home.

Does that show anything else Joe? Coz I really love this car, I learned how to drive with it :P. Anyways, any suggestion.

Thanks loads.

Omar

Something tells me there is an intake or head gasket leaking. Are you getting any coolant into the oil or oil into the coolant?

Also, do you have a compression gauge?

Hellow Joe, how are you?
I finally fixed the car, it turns out nothing is wrong wing the the gaskit, accpet its leaking some oil, but its resolvable, but my problem is that the freaken sencer.

The Fan sencer, this lil bitch caused all these problem, sory for the B word, I have changed the Cencer over 4 times, and it gets rewened again and again, I thing something in the engine is rewening the thing. I had an old battery before, could that be the reason why. Or something with the Avonse.
And when the fans trun the engine makes a sound. And the car pushes more when I drive it. Friends told me its normal, but is it?

You know I wrote alot you dont have to read it all, just answer the qeustions you want to answer or if you want dont answer at all, you already helped enough.

Thanks alot joe, you rock. And this website too.

I don't understand why the sensor is giving you so much trouble unless there is a short in the ciurcuit at some point. And as far as the idle, it is normal for the RPM's to raise when the AC is turned on, but not just the cooling fan. If anything, they may slightly drop because of the added draw on the alt.
