2004 Buick Lesabre ac/heater blower

2004 Buick Lesabre 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

sometimes the blower will come on when start up and most of the time it will take from two to five minutes. Occasion I seem to feel that the fan speed will go up and down. I have wiggled the connector to the blower and it has come on every time. If the car is turned off for a while then that is when it will not work. Can you help. Thanks in advance.

It sounds ike the blower motor itself is trying to sieze up. Are there any unusual sounds when it IS running? Try this: Next time it doesn't work, use a small hammer, screwdriver, etc and tap on the blower motor. If it is going bad and freezing up, this will usually make it start running. If so, replace it.
