The gas pedal sticks sometimes when its first started

You may want to check the throttle cable under the hood. I have seen one strand of the cable frayed/cut whatever, and it is preventing the cable to operate properly.

You also want to manually check the throttle body to make sure that it is not sticking from carbon build up.
