Six cylinder front wheel drive automatic 137,000 miles.

I have a problem with my rear suspension. It feels like the shocks are not working at all. That is to say they are hard and do not compress. It feels like I am riding on springs alone and it makes for an extremely rough ride. Can you give me a hint on where to look?

If it was on springs alone it would be a bouncy feel.

Do you have electronic level control in back?

Yes, it has automatic level control and yes it bounces. In fact it bounces so bad it lifts me off the seat.

When you said: "they are hard and do not compress" I took that completely opposite. So the shock absorbtion is weak.

You need to find out if the system is working and working correctly to start. Do you need the specs to determine the ride height?
