I just had my MAF sensor replaced (that is what they diaganosed it to be when my car did not start fully--very jerky start--and blew smoke out the back.
I just got the car back and have driven 150-200 miles freeway driving at 60mph and every once in awhile when I am going up a hill or the car shifts, I feel like I get "kicked in the backside" by the car. It jerks once or twice, finds the gear, and then is fine.

Any thoughts?

thank you so much

Have the plugs and wires been changed yet?

I would use delco or autolites on this, double platimum. And use quality wires.

I have seen a handful of these that gave no obvious test data, but this was done as a maintenance procedure in hopes of resolving, and did.
