My car is leaking coolant from a right angle black plastic piece that appears to run from the water pump into the intake manifold. Coolant is running out from around where it enters the manifold. How is this repaired? Should it be repaired by a mechanic? What is the anticipated cost of repair?

it is a coolant elbow. It can be repaired by removing the belt tensioner housing. There is another elbow behind this housing,so I would replace them both. They are not very expensive.
