Recently my voltage gage has been going upto 17 volts. I was told the battery was probably the problem. I since have installed a new battery and the gauge still goes up to 17volts. The car is running great but, is this a problem or should I be worried.

Thank You

The voltage gauges are not very accurate. First, check the voltage at the battery with the engine running. It should be around 13.2 to 15 volts. If this is what you come up with, then all is good.
