how would I remove a 1997 buick le sabre transmission, and how long will it take?

As far as removing it, the book says 6 hours. However, this is an involved process, and I recommend you get a good repair manual with step by step instructions and pictures to identify parts. For me to try to explain this via the internet allows too much room for error.
