My turn signals were not blinking?

My question is what is wrong with my turn signals? I noticed on Saturday (09/18/10) that my turn signals were not blinking. The lights would stay solid. I did check for a light to be burnt out but there was no lights burnt out. Later Saturday night I took the flasher fuse out of the fuse box for a little bit then pluged it back in. The car sat over night and the Sunday (09/19/10) morning the turn signal worked normal. Then yesterday (09/23/10) the turn signal stopped working again. I need to know what to do. I did buy a new fuse but the fuse that is in the car is square and the plugs do not match the round on that I bought from Auto Zone.

If this is happening equally to both sides, then it's likely a bad turn signal flasher. It may have two of them, one of hazards and one for turn signals.

Hazard light work fine though. I tested those and they flash fine. Also the fuse that is in the car does not match the fuse I bought for it. Unless I am not looking in the right place

Your not looking for a fuse. Your looking for a flasher.
