1997 Buick Lesabre Heating problems

The only way I can get any heat is to set the temp. as high as it will go. It is an electronic heating/cooling system. My exterior temp. readout is way off. Could that be what is effecting my heating problem?

Possibly, but you need to find the blend door to be sure it is moving when lower temps are selected. Sometimes the motor wont work all the way causing what you describe
