1997 Buick Lesabre Engine runs rough

My buick's check enging light started blinking this morning and the enging started running rough, any clue to what could cause this?

You will have to scan it with an OBD2 scanner to find out the code that was thrown. Go from there. It is there to help pinpoint the correct problem and not just starting to replace parts. Some local auto parts stores will scan it for you for free. Call around and ask.
