Hello,

I'm new to this site and would like some advise on changing the rear main seal. My car is a '95' Lesabre with the 3.8 GM engine. (front wheel drive). The oil pan removal is a cake walk to remove. However I need to know if the rear main seal can be replaced without having to pull the engine out or drop the transmission in order to remove and instal the new seal ? Any help would be great.

Thanks-

Your rear seal is one piece, does require trans removal to replace
