We had a 1994 buick that kept shutting off, we took it to the mechanic and he said it was a computer problem. We had the computer switched out and it ran good for a couple months now it is doing the same thing. It will run for awhile then just shut off while your driving or it wont even stay started long enough to go anywhere. Is it still a computer problem? Can you reset the computer?

Has the check engine light come on? HAve you checked fuel pump pressure?

As far as resetting the computer, disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes. If there are codes stored, it should reset them.

Let me know what you find.

It could be a few things. Have you had the computer scanned? IF the check engine light is on, chances are there is a trouble code there that will help identify where the problem is coming from.

Let me know. ALso, most nationally recognized parts stores will do it for free.
