I have a 1994 Buick Le Sabre that only leak oil when the engine is running. I took it to a shop and was told it was the gasket for the "Oil Filter Housing" .

I have had the gasket replaced, but the leak still occurs when the engine is running.

THe oil runs down to the ground from the area of the oil filter housing loosing up to 2 quarts a day.

Can you give me any idea on where the leak is comming from ?

Thank You................................................

You need to call the shop that diagnosed and repaired it. Tell them it is the same, they owe you an explanation.

Hi there,

this is a huge amount of oil to be leaking, if the mechanic who did this job can't see where that is coming from, he must be blind, go find a mechanic that will fix this, i am sure that it will not be hard to locate.
