I just got this car and went to get the inspection sticker, but the horn doesn't work. What can I do to fix this?

Hi:
The first thing to do is check the fuse for the horn. If it's good, you will need to see if there is power to the horn. Use a test light and have someone press the horn while you check for power. If there is no power, you will need to check the horn relay for power.
Let me know if this helps or if you have any other questions.

Yes, I have tried everything and the problem is the power coming from the inside of the car to the relay - there's no power. The power from the relay to the horn does work. So I was wondering, how can I install an alternate horn on the side of the steering wheel, just to pass the inspection sticker?

All you need to do is run power to the switch. I recommend you get the power from the fuse box and make sure the switch is fused. Then run a wire from the switche's other connection (that only gets power when the button is pushed) to the horn.
