1994 Buick Lesabre 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

when i use the left turn signal it only works if the head light is off. when the haed lights are on they dont blink. what might be causing this

faulty wiring, more specific faulty ground. check wiring at the signal switch and headlamp switch. also check wiring for the signal bulb housing.
