When driving home from class my car stopped blowing warm air, the power steering went out & the lights are going dim. I drove it home and then to work this morning but my lights and other accessories are not working. I coasted into a parking place at work and it's not going to move. I've checked the serpentine belt. It is not broken. A gear mechanism is loose that is attached to the belt. Not sure if the water pump is a problem, fuel pump (it went chugging up a hill on the way to work) or just the serpentine belt that needs to be replaced. Any suggestions?

If the belt isnt broken, sounds like the tensioner may have let go.See if there is any tension on the drive belt, if not then look at the tensioner ot see if it is broken
